Finally! A Peek into Our Kitchen!

Here is a picture of my spice cabinet, in all its glory. As you can see, I take my herbs and spices very seriously. They are crucial to kitchen where everything is prepared from scratch. My containers are one quart size that we purchased from Industrial Container Supply in Salt Lake City. What do I feel is important enough to buy that much of? Here's my list, in no particular order:

• Tumeric
• Nutmeg
• Cinnamon
• Coriander
• Basil
• Paprika
• Curry Powder
• Garlic Powder
• Oregano
• Mustard Powder
• Cardamom
• Poppy Seeds
• Tarragon
• Rubbed Sage
• Whole nutmeg
• Marjoram
• Carob Powder
• Onion powder
• Thyme
• Cayenne Pepper
• Chili Powder
• Garam Masala
• Chives
• Parsley
• Bay Leaves
• Dill Weed
• Cumin Seed
• Clove Powder
• Ginger Root Powder
• Caraway Seed
• Cajun Seasoning
• Yellow Mustard Seed
• Brown Mustard Seed
• Pumpkin Pie Spice
• Beet Root Powder (this makes a lovely pink food coloring)

I also had some vanilla, arrowroot powder and liquid castile soap (for making baby wipes) in this cabinet.

More pics to come!
